A Life Built on Service, Creativity & Heart
Melissa — known to friends as Missy — spent 22 years serving her country in the United States Air Force. Outside of her military career she worked as a Veterinary Technician at a civilian clinic, and alongside that developed a deep passion for training Belgian Malinois dogs for protection and service work — earning the legendary nickname “Snow White” along the way. After two decades of dedicated service, she retired and brought her passion for creativity home to San Antonio, Texas.
Long before the first mum was made, Missy was already bringing beauty and order to everything she touched — decorating, organizing events, and even professionally framing photographs and artwork, including pieces for Presidential clients. Her eye for detail and her commitment to quality were forged over a lifetime of service.
A few years ago Missy discovered Texas homecoming mums — and fell in love with the tradition. What started as a passion project has grown into Missy’s Customs, a full-service custom creation business serving San Antonio and the entire great state of Texas.
